On Sunday, Sept. 29, join the Virginia Equal Rights Coalition and the ERA and Centennial Committees of the League of Women Voters of Arlington for exhibits and lunch. Feel free to bring friends. Come for all or any portion of the day.

At the Belmont Paul Women's Equality Monument, enjoy a National Park Service guided tour. This historic brick house, now home to the National Women's Party, displays suffrage banners, art, and memorabilia.
We will take Metro to Circa Restaurant for lunch, then walk to two exhibits, "Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence" at the National Portrait Gallery and "Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote" at the National Archives. The Archives Exhibit includes the 19th Amendment document, as well as documents from the League of Women Voters, and honors the efforts of African American women who fought for suffrage. We expect to conclude by 4:45 PM .
Some walking is involved. You may join for all or any portion that appeals to you. Cost: $10 donation for LWV ERA programs. Each person responsible for their own cost of lunch and transportation.
Meet just before 11 AM at the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument, the period brick house at the corner of Constitution Avenue and 2nd St NE. Enter on 2nd Street. Metro: Capitol South Station or Union Station.
